Now that the respective AFC and NFC champions have been selected, the New England Patriots and the New York Giants will meet in the biggest event of the season: Super Bowl XLVI.
NFL and football odds for this game have been released and sportsbooks are ready to take action on who will win this game. While it isn’t the first time these two meet (remember Super Bowl XLII, when the Giants pulled one of the biggest upsets in football history?), the odds for this game paint a different picture for both teams.
Back in 2007, the odds opened with the Patriots listed as 11 point favorites and closed with the New England driving the game up to as high as -14. This time, the odds have opened with the Patriots listed at -3.5 and the total at 56. But while the line seems to favor New England, a large percentage of the money is expected to be on the Giants +3.5 -120.
